Students will also gain a full understanding of how designated agency affects other affiliated licensees within a brokerage, as well as when transaction brokerage is appropriate—Kansas law assumes transaction brokerage unless a written agency agreement is signed. The course further clarifies confidentiality requirements and what information agents and transaction brokers must disclose or keep confidential in Kansas transactions. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped to reduce risk, stay compliant with Kansas regulations, and communicate brokerage relationships effectively using the state‑required BRRETA brochure.
