This course will be held at KCRAR Northland 11500 N. Ambassador Dr. Ste. 270 Kansas City, MO 64153 and is approved for CORE credit in KS and ELECTIVE credit in MO. This course is a license renewal requirement for all Kansas licensees.
This three-hour course in part addresses issues that KREC and MREC have identified as problematic for licensees. Staying in touch with laws and regulations, such as the Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA) as well as state regulations for business practices is crucial to fulfilling your obligations to clients, customers, and the commission, and to your overall success.

Requirements for establishing brokerage relationships
The four agency types, as well as designated agency and seller/buyer agency in brokerage firms
The relationship nature and duties you have when you’re working as a seller’s agent, a buyer’s agent, or a transaction broker
Prohibited actions in Kansas and Missouri license law
Violations that KREC and MREC have identified involving disclosure, earnest money, contracts, and fair housing, and how to avoid them
Recent revisions to advertising regulations
KREC and MREC's reporting requirements per the Real Estate Brokers’ and Salespersons’ License Act
Regulations regarding sharing commissions and utilizing brokerage cooperation agreements with foreign licensees
Provisions of the KREC and MREC website, including important links and other resources
Attendance: There is no "late arrival window" for CE classes.
