New Home Construction (SEK Chapter/Independence, KS)
This course will be held at the Independence Country Club ( 2824 Country Club Cir, Independence, KS 67301). Are you New to New Homes? Do not venture into a new homes subdivision with your buyer unless you’ve taken this class and can understand the whole process. This isn’t something you can bluff your way through. Come hear from an experienced Broker, who knows how it’s done! He’ll cover aspects from the actual building process, to financing, to how to protect a buyer. (Note: The New Home Contracts will be only LIGHTLY discussed.) Approved for 3 hours elective CE for KS & MO. Attendance: There is no "late arrival window" for CE classes. Late arrivals will be permitted to attend the class, however, will not receive CE credit. Electronics: iPads and other electronic tablets are permitted for note taking purposes only. We will walk you through tips & tricks that are advantageous on how to search/prospect to find potential Buyer's Agent Leads & Seller's Agent Leads and how to cart your new opportunities together. Once your data has been acquired, we will demonstrate how to export data such as contact information, print your mailing labels, how to create a CMA report, and send mailers with our integration with PCM Digital.

This course will be held at the KCRAR - Northland (11500 N. Ambassador Dr. Ste. 270 Kansas City, MO 64153). The Heartland MLS Orientation Class is a mandatory non-CE session designed specifically for new Subscribers, providing a comprehensive overview of the Matrix system. This system stands out as one of the most essential tools available to Realtors, making it indispensable within the Real Estate industry. Participation in the Heartland MLS Orientation ensures that new Subscribers comply with Heartland MLS Rules and Regulations and develop proficiency in effectively navigating the Matrix system. Key Learning Objectives Include: • Comprehend the Rules and Regulations of Heartland MLS. • Best practices for conducting searches. • Listing status and input. • Creating Comparative Market Analyses (CMA). • Step-by-step instructions for setting up auto emails and saved searches. • Guidance on searching public records. Kansas Required Core (SEK Chapter/Indpendence, KS)
This course will be held at the Independence Country Club ( 2824 Country Club Cir, Independence, KS 67301) and is approved for CORE credit in KS and ELECTIVE credit in MO and is a license renewal requirement for all Kansas licensees. This three-hour course in part addresses issues that KREC and MREC have identified as problematic for licensees. Staying in touch with laws and regulations, such as the Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA) as well as state regulations for business practices is crucial to fulfilling your obligations to clients, customers, and the commission, and to your overall success. Course highlights include: The Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA), its impact on brokerage agreements in Kansas, and its stipulations for terminating agency relationships Requirements for establishing brokerage relationships The four agency types, as well as designated agency and seller/buyer agency in brokerage firms The relationship nature and duties you have when you’re working as a seller’s agent, a buyer’s agent, or a transaction broker Prohibited actions in Kansas and Missouri license law Violations that KREC and MREC have identified involving disclosure, earnest money, contracts, and fair housing, and how to avoid them Attendance: There is no "late arrival window" for CE classes.
