NAR REALTOR Code of Ethics: Conversion Using the Code & Chapter Luncheon (Pittsburg)
This is an in-person CE class held at the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce (117 W. 4th St. Pittsburg, KS 66762) from 10AM -2 PM with a Pittsburg Chapter Member Lunch Meeting from 11:30-12:30 PM. During the class session, you will watch a 3-hour video recording of national instructor, Leigh Brown's Code of Ethics presentation. This course satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® requirement, which requires a Code of Ethics completion dates between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. Approved for 3 hours of Kansas ELECTIVE and 3 hours of Missouri CORE* (Please note: The 2026 MO Required Core Topic is "Fair Housing". The additional 9 hours of MO credit can be made up of additional core topics such as Code of Ethics or elective titles.) As REALTORS®, we need the Code of Ethics and frankly the more good training we take, the better REALTORS® we are. This ethics training will be fun and relatable to every member so that the public will understand what makes a professional REALTOR® different. Leigh Brown will guide us through all 17 articles of the Code of Ethics, including all the updates to article 10-5. We will talk about case studies and what’s happened with actual REALTORS® and the actual public. You will walk away from this class with a better understanding of how you can put the Code of Ethics to work in your day-to-day business to help your community understand the value of a professional REALTOR®. Leigh Brown will give you tools to use in your listing presentation and the strength to go forward in your community providing a different level of real estate service.
