Our in-person, new member education session will provide you all the tools you need to jump start your career and make the most of your membership. New members are required to complete this 3-hour orientation within 60 days of joining. During this session, members will realize their full benefits of membership from KCRAR, the State Associations, and the National Association of REALTORS®. This is a Non-CE session.

Heartland MLS Orientation (In-Person)
Please bring your fully charged personal laptop, as the class format involves hands-on instruction, allowing participants to learn through active engagement. The Heartland MLS Orientation Class is a mandatory non-CE session designed specifically for new Subscribers, providing a comprehensive overview of the Matrix system. This system stands out as one of the most essential tools available to Realtors, making it indispensable within the Real Estate industry. Participation in the Heartland MLS Orientation ensures that new Subscribers comply with Heartland MLS Rules and Regulations and develop proficiency in effectively navigating the Matrix system. Key Learning Objectives Include: Comprehend the Rules and Regulations of Heartland MLS. Best practices for conducting searches. Listing status and input. Creating Comparative Market Analyses (CMA). Step-by-step instructions for setting up auto emails and saved searched. Guidance on searching public records. Please remember to bring your personal laptop, as the class format involves hands-on instruction, allowing participants to learn through active engagement. For those seeking deeper guidance on utilizing the Matrix system after completing the MLS Orientation, enrollment in the "Unlocking Matrix" class is encouraged.

NAR REALTOR Code of Ethics: Conversion Using the Code (Northland)
This is an in-person CE class held at KCRAR Northland (11500 N. Ambassador Dr. Ste. 270 KCMO 64153) where you will watch a 3-hour video recording of national instructor, Leigh Brown's Code of Ethics presentation. Passing an online 30-question, open book quiz is required within 24-hours of class end time to receive CE credit. This course satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® requirement, which requires a Code of Ethics completion dates between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. Approved for 3 hours of Kansas ELECTIVE and 3 hours of Missouri CORE* (Please note: The 2026 MO Required Core Topic is "Fair Housing". The additional 9 hours of MO credit can be made up of additional core topics such as Code of Ethics or elective titles.) As REALTORS®, we need the Code of Ethics and frankly the more good training we take, the better REALTORS® we are. This ethics training will be fun and relatable to every member so that the public will understand what makes a professional REALTOR® different. Leigh Brown will guide us through all 17 articles of the Code of Ethics, including all the updates to article 10-5. We will talk about case studies and what’s happened with actual REALTORS® and the actual public. You will walk away from this class with a better understanding of how you can put the Code of Ethics to work in your day-to-day business to help your community understand the value of a professional REALTOR®. Leigh Brown will give you tools to use in your listing presentation and the strength to go forward in your community providing a different level of real estate service.
