UMKC REALTOR Leadership Academy Information Luncheon
Join KCRAR on Tuesday, June 18th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management (5110 Cherry St. KCMO 64110) and learn more about the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy. Applications available at www.kcrar.com/education. KCRAR partnered with the UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management to develop a unique academy specifically for REALTORS® to gain new skills and knowledge specific to the business of real estate. The UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy is a seven-month program that brings three core themes into the classroom: industry context, regional leadership and practice management. The program is limited to 25 students per year, but those students will have the opportunity to work on team-based assignments and projects, engage in field assignment and interact with industry experts. Monthly class meetings are hosted on the UMKC campus, and the program is led by instructors from across the UMKC network. Each graduate of the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy earns alumni status at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. Contact the KCRAR Education Dept.for more information: 913-661-1600 ext. 3

Kansas Required Core (ZOOM)
Passing a final exam is required to obtain CE credit in MO and/or KS. Virtual attendees are required to have cameras on, with face visible. Driving, multi-tasking, phone calls, etc. are not permitted during virtual session. Upon registration, the ZOOM link will be located on the course card under "MY CLASSES" in your member portal. This course is approved for 3 hours of Missouri ELECTIVE CE credit and 3 hours of Kansas CORE credit. This course will in part addresses issues that KREC and MREC have identified as problematic for licensees. Staying in touch with laws and regulations, such as the Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA) as well as state regulations for business practices is crucial to fulfilling your obligations to clients, customers, and the commission, and to your overall success. Course highlights include: The Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA), its impact on brokerage agreements in Kansas, and its stipulations for terminating agency relationships Requirements for establishing brokerage relationships The four agency types, as well as designated agency and seller/buyer agency in brokerage firms The relationship nature and duties you have when you’re working as a seller’s agent, a buyer’s agent, or a transaction broker Prohibited actions in Kansas and Missouri license law Violations that KREC and MREC have identified involving disclosure, earnest money, contracts, and fair housing, and how to avoid them Recent revisions to advertising regulations KREC and MREC's reporting requirements per the Real Estate Brokers’ and Salespersons’ License Act Regulations regarding sharing commissions and utilizing brokerage cooperation agreements with foreign licensees Provisions of the KREC and MREC website, including important links and other resources Attendance: There is no "late arrival window" for CE classes. Late arrivals will be permitted to attend the class, however, will not receive CE credit.Electronics: iPads and other electronic tablets are permitted for note taking purposes only.

Kansas Required Core (Northland)
This course will be held at KCRAR Northland 11500 N. Ambassador Dr. Ste. 270 Kansas City, MO 64153 and is approved for CORE credit in KS and ELECTIVE credit in MO.
