KCRAR Residential Real Estate Forecast

October 19, 2017 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Kansas City Public Library Plaza
4801 Main St
Kansas City, MO 64112

Can REALTORS® predict the future of housing? Attend this event to hear what to expect in the coming year. KCRAR’s Residential Forecast takes a look at market trends and their effects on housing. What is in store for residential sales in the year ahead? Will the market continue to grow? What about new construction? How will Baby Boomers and Millennials affect the market? Are interest rates on the rise?

We are excited to announce Jordan Rappaport, Senior Economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, as our keynote speaker. He will be joined by Professor Stan Longhofer, Director of the Center for Real Estate at Wichita State University and Tim Cowden, President & CEO of the Kansas City Area Development Council. These experts will share their expectations of how the economy might affect your business and the housing market in 2018.

A commercial forecast will follow featuring keynote speaker Matt Vance, Director of Research & Analysis/Economist for CBRE/Americas Research/Econometric Advisors. The event will also include a panel discussion focusing on trends in the local commercial sector.

This event is free for KCRAR members and their guests (non-members will pay $25 in advance and $50 at the door).
