This class satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training Requirement that must be completed every 2 years (current cycle is January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018). This class is not a requirement for license renewal, but it is a requirement for REALTOR® membership. Failure to complete training during this cycle leads to suspension of membership.

This class is not approved for CE credit.

Description:

The new Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA course covers the nuts and bolts of a comparative market analysis (CMA), including its purpose, key principles of valuation that impact these analyses, and important valuation terminology. Participants will understand the purpose of appraisals, how they differ from CMAs and the scope of the appraiser’s role. After completing the course, real estate professionals will be able to effectively address client concerns about pricing, choose appropriate comparables, prepare and present a superior CMA and generate ideas for working constructively with appraisers.

The Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA course is required to attain the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certification and meets the elective requirement for the ABR® designation awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC).

This class is 6 Elective hours for KS and MO.

The Matrix Hands-On class is for any agent wanting additional training of the basic functionality of the Matrix system. Searches, CMA’s, Emailing, Taxes and many other functions will be covered in this class. This class is very similar to the Orientation class; however, rules and regulations will not be covered. This class is designed for any agent in the business that does not feel comfortable with the basics of the Matrix System.

This class will cover the basics of RPR (REALTOR® Property Resource). RPR is a website designed by NAR to provide agents extra information when working with buyers and sellers. The basic functionality of the site will be covered. Heat maps, RVM, distressed property search and other functions of the site will be discussed in this class. Agents will need to have access to the RPR site before registering for the class.
